We had such a wonderful stay at this hostel. the owners were incredibly helpful and provided us with all the information we needed for our tours and activities in the area. They even gave us a helpful map with recommendations for places to eat. It truly felt like we were at home. the coffee in the morning was a nice touch and added to the overall pleasant experience.

Cons: Nothing could have been better.

I recently stayed at Hostal Familiar Jerico for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The family who runs the hotel are incredibly warm and friendly, making me feel right at home. Martha, in particular, went above and beyond in her hospitality by providing helpful tips and even helping me retrieve a lost item. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the main street and plaza, and close to the bus station. The owners also provided valuable information for exploring Valle de Cocora and organized a great coffee tour. On top of all that, they served delicious fruit in the mornings and had the cutest cat.

The family running the place were cute and friendly. They took the time to give me a thorough overview of the area, very helpful. The room wassuper clean and cozy, and the location was perfect. That our room was located next to the communal area and we were woken up early one morning due to noisy guests. this was just a one-time occurrence and didn't affect the overall positive experience.

We had a great time at this hostel. The family was very accommodating and appreciated the breakfast which they additionally provided each morning. The location we loved as it was not in the centre but just a few blocks away from the crowd and all the amenities we need. We were working online and there was no problem with the connection. We have met other nice travellers too but it wasn't really a big, crowded hostel atmosphere. The hot shower was excellent as it is a pretty cold place in the beautiful Andes.
